Wrexhams under 8`s entertaining touring team Earlsdon of Coventry had to show good defensive play in a closely contested match before coming out 8-5 winners with tries from Blake Turner (3), Rhys Robinson (2), Cameron Allen, Will Smith and Ethan-Rhys Williams. The second game saw relentless Wrexham attacking play as they came out winners 8-2 with tries from Williams (3), Turner (2), Smith (2) and Tom Jenkins scoring a superb solo effor.

1st April Chester 6 - 4

Wrexhams under 8`s team showed fine away form beating the 2006 Cheshire County Champions Chester in two closely contested games. Wrexham won their first 6-4 with tries from Will Smith (2), Ethan-Rhys Williams (2), Blake Turner and Cameron Allen.Some fine defensive play from both teams ended with Wrexham winning 5-3 with tries from Turner (2), Williams, Smith and Allen.

24th March Shrewsbury 8 - 4

Wrexhams under 7`s playing at home to Shrewsbury lost their first game 12-8 despite tries from Will Smith (4), Marcus Abell (2), Niall Hillman and Tom Jenkins. Shrewsbury maintained their fine form winning their second game 8-4 with Smith (3) and Abell responding for Wrexham.  Meanwhile Wrexhams under 8`s drew 6-6 with Shrewsbury in their first game with tries from Blake Turner (2), Ethan-Rhys Williams (2), Rhys Robinson amd Josh Hallem. Wrexham picked up the pace in their second game eventually coming out 7-4 winners in a terrific fast paced game with tries from Robinson (3), Turner (2) and Williams (2)

Wrexhams` under eights playing at home won their first game against Rhyl  7-4  with tries from Ethan-Rhys Williams (4), Blake Turner, George Morris and Cameron Allen. Wrexham's second game saw them go down 4-2 in a very tight encounter with Llandudno despite tries from Turner and Rhys Robinson.

Wrexhams under sevens and eights teams entertained Whitchurch at home.The under sevens playing two fast games won their first game 11-7 with tries from Will Smith (6) Josh Hallem (3) and Tom Jenkins (2).     The second game saw Wrexham keeping Whitchurch at bay winning 13-9 with Hallem running in a superb eight tries with other scores from Smith (2), Jenkins, Marcus Abell and Niall Hillman. Meanwhile the under eights drew a very tight encounter 8-8 with tries from Cameron Allen (3), Blake Turner (2), Ethan-Rhys Willians (2) and Owen Edwards. The second game saw Wrexham pick up the pace going on to win 6-3 with tries from Turner (3), Williams, George Morris, Rhys Robinson.

4th March Sandbach 12 - 4

Wrexhams under eights away to Sandbach produced a barn storming performance in their first game in very difficult conditions to win 12-4 with tries from Ethan-Rhys Williams (6), Blake Turner (3), Will Smith (2) and Rhys Robinson.

Despite excellent tagging from Wrexham they could`nt stop the home team winning 7-5 in the second game despite tries from Cameron Allen (3) and Turner (2).

18th Feb Crewe & Nantwich

Wrexham's first game against Crewe saw us go down 6:2. This was a very fast game with both our tries being scored by a determined Cameron Allen.The re-match was very different, seeing excellent team work and team spirit from our young players. We held the home side to an 8:8 draw with an excellent try from Will Smith, 2 outstanding tries from George Morris followed by a phenomenal 5 tries from the unstoppable Cameron Allen.                     The squad regrouped for a further match against Anselmians. Victory at last 5:3 to Wrexham. Grit and determination prevailed with a further 2 tries for George Morris, 2 more for Cameron Allen and a wonderful try by Josh Hallam securing a fine result.

14th Jan Mold 10-6

6-10 and 8-6

The under eights playing at Mold saw three flowing games aided by superb refereeing.Wrexham won 10-6 with tries from Josh Hallem,Tom Jenkins,Cameron Allen (3),Ethan-Rhys Williams (3) and Niall Hillman (2),their second game Wrexham lost 10-6 despite tries from Blake Turner (3),Ethan- Rhys Williams (2) and Rhys Robinson,In the final game Wrexham won 8-6 with tries from Turner (3), Allen (2),Williams (2) and Robinson.

26th Nov Winnington Park 7-2

4-2 and 4-1

Wrexhams under 8`s entertaining Winnington Park at home were unable to defend against some strong running and fine ball handling from the visitors losing all three games 7-2,4-2 and 4-1

19th Nov Shrewsbury 3-2     2-2

3-5     5-3

Wrexhams under 7`s and 8`s teams playing away to Shrewsbury saw the under 7`s win their first game 3-2 with tries from Will Smith (2) and Josh Hallem and drawing their second game 2-2 with fine tries again from Smith and Hallem.The under 8`s lost their first game 5-3 despite tries from Cameron Allen, Blake Turner and Ethan-Rhys Williams before moving on to win their second game 5-3 with tries from Rhys Robinson, David Jones, Turner and Williams (2).

5th Nov Rhyl 4-2


Wrexhams under 8`s entertained Rhyl at home winning their first game 4-2 with tries for Wrexham from Blake Turner, Rhys Robinson, Ethan-Rhys Williams and Will Smith. The second game saw spirited attack from Rhyl before Wrexham came out as winners 7-3, tries from Blake Turner, Rhys Robinson, Ethan-Rhys Williams (2), Will Smith, Cameron Allen and Josh Hallam 

29th Oct Rhyl

Colwyn Bay



Wrexham won the first of two games by 9-5 with tries from Blake Turner (7) and Josh Hallem (3). They narrowly lost the second game 3-1with Tom Jenkind scoring for Wrexham.

15th Oct Mold 7-4


Wrexham’s under 8`s overcame Mold in two fast paced games winning the first game 7-4 with tries from Ethan-Rhys Williams (5), Josh Hallem and Blake Turner and then winning the second game 10-3 with tries from Dafydd Rawlinson (2) Josh Hallem, Rhys Robinson (2), Blake Turner, Ethan-Rhys Williams (3) and Cameron Allen

8th Oct Llandudno

Nant Conwy

Wrexham were away to Llandudno where they continued their good away form by winning 6 -4. Tries were scored by: Ethan Rhys Williams (4) and 1 each to Tom Jenkins and Josh Hallam.                        Wrexham also played Nant Conwy at the same venue narrowly losing 5 - 4. This was also an excellent game with both teams producing some fine open rugby from end to end.During the second half it was Nant Conwy who took the upper hand with some excellent ball handling.

1st Oct Flint 5 - 8

9 - 4

Honours were shared the honours with two games played. Wrexham  lost 1st 5-8 and won the 2nd 9-4.
Lots of scorers on the day.

24th Sept. Ruthin 4 - 2

3 - 3

Played at Ruthin. Wrexham came behind to win the first game 4-2. The second game was drawn at 3 tries each.
